FAQs

How will I know therapy is for me?

1

You have already taken an important step towards answering this question by being here now. Speaking to a therapist for the first time can feel daunting. I offer a free first conversation to help you decide if therapy feels right for you and to answer any questions you might have.

How do I arrange a first conversation?

2

You can fill in the contact form on the Contact page. Alternatively, you can email or get in touch by phone or text. I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable time.

How much does a session cost?

3

The first telephone conversation is free. Ongoing sessions cost £65 per session. [More on fees.]

How many sessions will I need?

4

This depends on each individual client and can vary considerably. Some clients find short term therapy with a fixed number of sessions helpful. Others prefer to work long term where session numbers will be part of an ongoing process and progress made. These are questions that we can explore in our first session together.

When do you have availability?

5

I work Monday to Friday during the day. I also have some evening slots available.

Where will my session be held?

6

I work face-to-face, online and on the telephone.

Who will know I’m seeing a therapist?

7

Confidentiality is at the heart of my practice. We will discuss this in more depth when we meet for the first time.
